How many trees can you collect from me?
However many you have! There is a charge per tree that we collect but if you run a business and have a number of trees to recycle then we will be happy to talk to you directly. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I need to wait in for you?
No, leave your tree outside ready for us to collect then you can enjoy the January sales shopping.
What do I need to do once I’ve booked?
By the 6th January 2018, ensure that your tree has been stripped of all decorations and lights, removed from its pot or stand and left outside by 8.30am in an easily accessible location and in one piece.
My tree has not been collected, what do I do?
If your tree has not been collected by 4pm on Sunday 7th January 2018, please email email@example.com
Will you remind me of my booking?
Yes. We will send you a reminder email a few days before.
When’s the last date that I can book?
To avoid disappointment we recommend that you book as soon as possible. We have a limited capacity as we rely on volunteers so we operate on a first come first served basis. Booking will close when we are at capacity or on Sun 7th January 2018 at 7am.
How can I help?
We welcome any help that is available! If you’d like to get involved you can volunteer your time or your vehicle to help us out with collections. Get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know when you’re available.
Do I need to chop the tree up for you?
No, please leave your tree whole.
How do I pay?
Payment is done through Paypal. If you need to do a manual PayPal transaction, please send it to email@example.com referencing 1st line of your home address.
What if I can’t pay online?
We prefer online payments but if you really can’t get online please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss other arrangements.
Where do you collect from?
Our collection area is Weston Green, Thames Ditton, Long Ditton, Molesey and Hinchley Wood.
We are also collecting in Hersham and Walton upon Thames now that Hersham Scout Group are fully booked.
I live outside of your postcodes can I still use your service?
KT9, KT5 – sorry you are out of area

Do you collect at any other times?
We rely on volunteers to do the collections so are only collecting on 6th and 7th January 2018. You don’t need to be in when we collect your tree, so if you are going away but would still like to use our service just leave your tree outside before you go and have a fabulous time.
Can I make an additional donation?
Of course you can! Either you can make an additional donation when booking your tree collection or else make a manual PayPal transaction,to firstname.lastname@example.org referencing “Donation”.
Can I gift aid my tree collection donation?
Yes you can, just select the gift aid tick box when booking your tree to be collected.

What are the donations going towards?
This year we are fundraising for a much need new Mini-bus. Last year we raised about half of the money that we need, this year we are hoping to raise enough to buy it!
Will you be running this service next year?
Yes, this collection service is an annual fundraiser for us.
How much does it cost?
We ask for a minimum donation of £6 per tree.
Do you supply Christmas Trees?
No – but our neighbouring Scout groups do
